Giulio Sangirardi and Giulia Cavicchi are husband and wife making guitars from their workshop at home near Bologna. Giulio Sangirardi makes the guitars and Giulia Cavicchi does the French plosihing and makes the rosettes and bindings. They latterly had extensive tuition from renowned Italian luthier Paolo Coriani. The result is this wonderful guitar which is such a joy to play. The sound is very natural,clean and crisp. The guitar is very light in construction resulting in strong reverberation which is still easy to control.
