Jake is an English luthier based in Suffolk who has been making fine classical guitars for 15 years. Having trained at London Guildhall University and earned a BSs in Musical Instrument Technology he chose to dedicate his time and craft to classical guitar construction. This guitar we have in stock is lightly built but with powerful, deep resonances. The flat neck is particularly well constructed making it very easy to finger all the way up beyond the 12th fret. The spruce is very old, Jake having acquired a number of sets from a recently retired cello maker. This gives the tone a beautifully refined, mature sound considering it's a brand new guitar. The top has already taken on the lovely honeyed hue of an older spruce guitar.
