We are delighted to welcome John Ray to our list of wonderful luthiers. John first went to Granada in 1989 to learn the art of lutherie from the masters of guitar making at that time including Antonio Marin, Jonathan Hinves, Jose Angel Chacon and Rolf Eichenger. John has since established himself in Granada as one of the most renowned luthiers employing the full range of traditional skills to make wonderful instruments that grace the concert stage worldwide. John has been particularly active in keeping the traditions of Granada guitar making alive through his many studies of traditional methods and resultant writings.
