Federico Sheppard's guitars are renowned for their immaculate craftsmanship, ease of playing
and wonderful tone. He has just completed 2
replica guitars of Agustin Barrios for the Barrios museum in Ascuncion, Paraguay.
Federico is also a collector and dealer in rare woods and has supplied many of top American luthiers such as Robert Ruck and Richard Brune.
The guitar pictured is remarkable in many ways.
It would be difficult to imagine a guitar with more volume. It's like a canon! Many very loud guitars lack other characteristics,however, this one retains it's expressive tone amd can be played quietly too!
Federico trained in medicine and is still a licensed physician but gave it all up to make guitars.
