Gerard O'Gorman first learned lutherie from Robert Welford in Cambridge in the 1970s. All the woods he has used throughout his career have been sourced from famous N. Irish luthier George Lowden, who was also a big help to him in his lutherie education. This guitar is based on the plantilla of a guitar by early 20th c Barcelona luthier Francisco Esteve and the bracing follows a Hauser plan. This has resulted in an enormously vibrant guitar with great sustain and ease of playing. This is a beautifully crafted guitar from an experienced luthier and represents excellent value.GERARD O'GORMAN N. Ireland cedar
